Corporate and Hands-On Training
Week 1 – Training is hands-on and real-world. During training, you will work on a variety of doors that are being refinished for actual clients. You will see our refinishing process from start to finish. You will also role-play scenarios that you will encounter in your business: presenting a quote, picking up a door, delivering a door, getting paid, and so on. The Door Renew “Refinishing Manual,” which details every step in the refinishing process, will be included in your training.

Business Launch

Once things are up and running, we will come to your location for two days of additional face-to-face training. This visit is a great time to get your questions answered, identify strengths, reinforce challenges and make sure you are following the Door Renew system.

Door Renew has training videos to aid you and your employees in all aspects of the Door Renew business. Your and your employee’s time is valuable, and you need answers quickly, so most of the videos are short, 10 minutes, and cover a single topic, i.e., “How do I prepare an estimate?” Other videos are more in-depth for more extensive issues relating to actual door restoration. You and your employees can access your smartphone or computer wherever you are.

Welcome Note from the Founder of Door Renew
Welcome to Door Renew. We are excited to introduce you to our fantastic franchise system. You may be surprised to learn that some of our biggest markets are newer homes. That’s right, more contemporary upscale developments and condominium complexes have beautiful wooden and fiberglass entryways but do not have the porches and mature trees to protect them.
I knew there was a significant need for refinishing doors and that the industry was ripe for a company to fill it. The first hurdle to overcome was developing a temporary door system that would allow us to efficiently remove their door and bring it to a shop to be completely refinished. This would enable us to work on our schedule, with the door on a bench without the hardware and jam impeding our work. The next hurdle was researching topcoats to determine which would hold up the best while delivering the quality and color selections customers’ demand.
Through research and testing, all of this has been taken care of. We’ve developed a temporary door system that works for all sizes of doors. The process we developed was adapted to restore antique wooden boats and use many of the same products.
Door Renew is a great opportunity that is recession-resistant and a high-demand franchise opportunity. The home services industry is HOT, and Door Renew has robust systems that offer a high-profit margin. There is a massive demand for our services and little or no competition.
