MICHAEL KORIZNO brings thirty-five years of International Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations & General Manager/MD and entrepreneurial experience. Michael is the founder and President of Southern Hospitality & Technology- a consulting partner focused on Sales Organizations & Strategies. Additionally, he founded Atlantic Business Alliance—a new age boutique brokerage and seller representative. At ABA , Michael was trained and certified as an NAABB certified Business Broker—the highest training requirements in the industry. Prior to his focus on small business, Michael worked in iconic companies like Kodak, Sony, Mitsubishi, Corning, etc. His global experience includes three separate international expatriate assignments (London, Geneva, & Shanghai). At Sony America, he had the honor of being the youngest National Sales Manager. In his Kodak tenure, he served as Corporate Vice President, a member of the Corporate Executive Council & a member of the Senior Diversity Council of the Fortune 100 company. He has been consistently positioned as a Change Agent –Driving the Analog to Digital transformation, the B2C to B2B Transformation & driving Cultural Change to a more customer centric organization. Career Highlights
EASTMAN KODAK—9/1997 - 9/2014 Grew through multiple promotions and organization consolidations with peak responsibilities of $8 b revenue and an employee organization of 9000. Sales leader of transformation to a Digital company. Managed Digital growth from $80 m to $2.5 b in eight years. Drove #1 market share position in U.S. Digital Camera market. Leveraged new adjacencies of Digital Frames, Snapshot printers and Photo Kiosks into #1 share positions. Developed/implemented the Strategic Account Framework used to manage the company’s most valuable twenty-five accounts. This was instrumental in establishing customer focus to enable emergence from restructuring. Company emerged from restructure 9/2013 and began trading on NYSE 11/2013.
SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY & TECHNOLOGY—9/2014 - Present. Founder and leader of this Sales consulting partner. Engagements focused on Growth and creation of a Customer Centric culture. Developed launch plan for Funai Electric for Kodak inkjet printers. Results included gaining 7800 store fronts in a five-country launch plan.
ATLANTIC BUSINESS ALLIANCE—2016-Present. Drove Charleston closing rates to 3-4 times national average—a testament to the business model based on confidential execution of attracting & qualifying buyers and matching them with our partners.
