OUR ORIGIN STORY
Transactage was founded to solve a problem that most business owners never see coming: 80% of small and mid-sized businesses never sell — they close, liquidate, or transfer for far less than they’re worth. After years working inside private equity, small business operations, and exit planning strategy, our team saw a gap in the market: owners were being told what their business was worth, but never shown how to make it worth more — or how to turn that valuation into a successful sale.
That led us to integrate proven exit-planning methodology (CEPA / Exit Factor) with real-world brokerage execution (buyer sourcing, negotiation, deal structure, and closing). The result is Transactage — a firm that doesn’t just list businesses, but engineers sellable businesses and manages the full transaction lifecycle from valuation to wire transfer.
