• Though John “officially” became a licensed Realtor in 1989, his unofficial real estate education began as a child at the knee of his father. As his family’s second generation to practice the fine art of real estate, John has inherited an intrinsic understanding of both a seller’s needs and a buyer’s needs. This business sense, coupled with his experience, make John a valuable addition to the marketing team at Coldwell Banker Commercial Honig-Bell. John has also been involved in governmental committees and served as chairman for the former Fox Valley Board of Realtors Legislative Committee. He also served as a liaison between the National Board of Realtors and former Congressman/Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert’s office. He was formerly a development manager for Tucker Development, a commercial development company based in Highland Park, IL, specializing in site selection for Wal-Mart Corp. John is a member of the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. John handles all aspects of commercial business, with an emphasis on retail sales and leasing.
