A native of the Shenandoah Valley, Donn Meyerhoeffer has resided and worked in the Harrisonburg, Virginia area for over three decades. Well known throughout the community, he maintains a wide network of friends, family, and business associates.

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Industrial Engineering, he started his career with the Tennessee Eastman Company (headquarters for the Chemicals Division of the Eastman Kodak Company) in Kingsport, Tennessee. It was during this time that he also earned a MBA from East Tennessee State University.

With a desire to return to the Shenandoah Valley, Donn was one of the first professionals hired from outside the area to join the local employee-owned technology firm ComSonics, where he excelled throughout a 30-year career with increasing responsibilities to positions including Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. From his many roles at ComSonics, Donn gained valuable experience in the General Management of multi-site operations including facility start-ups and Contract Manufacturing. In addition, he played a strategic role in several mergers and acquisitions.

He is both a Professional Engineer and has held a Real Estate license in the state of Virginia for over 25 years. In addition, Donn also successfully completed requirements and received designation as a Certified Business Broker (CBB) from the Finance Training Society.

As a community leader, Donn is a member of the Harrisonburg Rotary Club, Asbury United Methodist Church, and the Board of Directors for Lantz Construction Company in Broadway.

Donn brings a unique blend of communication skills, business acumen, and analytical knowledge applicable to the field of Business Brokerage. He also possesses a knack for recognizing opportunities and orchestrating “win-win” results that will benefit many of our clients, particularly those desiring to buy or sell businesses that may also include commercial Real Estate.
